well i have come to the conclusion, nut like's her evening meals with us! her table manners have improved :21: (some) but we still keep her in her sleep cage
this meal she loves, son is so-so on it an hubs likes it for lunch, i like it cos its tasty and low cal, high protien and fibre! plus its easy to store for another meal
80g of broth mix (barley, lentils, green split peas, haricot beans, marrowfat peas, red split lentils, yellow split peas, brown rice) these need to soak over night (at least 10hrs)
1 raw chicken carcass (i normally cut of legs, wings, breast to make other meals with) or a few chicken wings remove skin and wing tips
1 onion chopped
1 carrot
1 potatoe
chicken stock according to instructions and read through ingrerdient list, avoid MSG mono sodium glutamate, high salt content etc
after soaking the mix, rinse, place in a pan of cold water, bring to boil an let it boil for at least 10mins start the 10mins from boiling point
then drain, add veggies, chicken carcass or wings and cover with chicken stock, bring to boil again and simmer for 30mins till pulses are tender
serve :32:
i serve some of the bigger bones in nuts dish, as she loves the marrow and make sure its cooled down enough for her
