What I've discovered is all birds like people want most what's worst for them. Yes, if you feed him cheese or any dairy products for that matter, it will, as they say, all come out in the end. The effect will be a miniscule drop in his lifespan. If you feed him dairy products regularly, those miniscule drops start adding up.
What you feed your bird is your choice. I love pizza. I know it's not my best choice but am willing to pay the price. I love cheese. I eat it knowing full well the effects on me but am willing to pay the price.
Most birds have bodies that will tolerate dairy products. Unlike me, they depend on owners to decide for them. So, again, technically, dairy products should be avoided, but we all love to sneak in stuff that is bad for us occasionally.
