Two Cockatiels: Rascal (Geraldine) and his baby brother named Coconut!
Check out how much Coconut loves bathing! Am I the ONLY one here who thinks these bird bath containers are ridiculously too small? I need to get larger ones.

I'm SUPER proud of Coconut because he tried to fly up to the very high window sill after he bathed and of course did not make it (since feathers were soaked he couldn't fly as well) and instead of crashing into the wall he aborted and did a u-turn and safely landed on floor instead. The old Coconut would have cashed head first into the wall! He's being MUCH more cautious lately.

He likes the below one because it has mirror in it and he can stare at himself haha...

Aww, Coconut sure loves his bath!
My Alex and IRN use a glass pie plate when they take a bath. It's nice and wide, and heavy so they can't flip it.

I use a 3 quart dog dish! Go to a feed and grain store, supper cheep! SS dish! JoJo loves it!
Also bathing near the cage will rust it out!

That's a great idea... I'm going to get one. That is amazing you have an IRN... I find them to be so fascinating :)

Flboy... thanks for the idea I'm going to either try to get a shallow dog bowl or a pie pan of some short tomorrow....

IRNs are characters, for sure:)

NICE! I wish BB would take to bathing like that

Oh my gosh that so cute it looks like a jacuzzi! LOL

What is that called? ... and is the part that looks like the wooden walls of jacuzzi included or is that something you made yourself? That's the perfect size I've been looking for. I totally want to go to Lowes and buy one....

Jim

At first Coconut was TERRIFIED of the water and wouldn't go anywhere near his little bathtubs but then once I dipped my fingers into the water and flicked water drops on him several times he REALLY got into it hehe :D... and then I started spraying mist on him with a sprayer and that's all it took LOL

What does BB do when you flick water onto him or spray him with mist?

Well, guess what?!
When I got mine, it didn't had any tag, it was the only one left, I went to the cashier and they found out the price, around $14, so I go it.
When you asked what type of wood was it, I didn't knew, I went to Lowe's yesterday, they have a few there with tags, and it is red cedar!!!
I came home and remove the wood!
On the other side, they didn't had it available all the time, since they get "shower " only around 7pm every other day, they didn't have access to it, Im not worry about it, but I have it removed.

You will find it where garden/seeds are, it's called bird feeder/bath

I wanted to keep that one because it's too funny his facial expressions when he sees his reflection in that mirror but the way that mirror is has gaps and it seems like it would get moldy and nasty after a while as it has all sorts of little grooves in it. I guess I could just use soft toothbrush to clean in the cracks around mirror.... :)

I just bought that same bird bath. I didn't think it would work for the cockatiel, but thought my lovebird might like it. But, he doesn't. It is now a snack tray.
