Chat room?

It has been proposed before but will not happen. It is not technically possible on our forum. Sorry.

Why dont we just make a IRC channel or something for the forum?
We can just make seperate channels for all the sub-forums and whatnot. It would be pretty easy to do....

The most common route is an IRC backend with a Java/whatever webpage module - because 9/10 people have a mental break down when trying to use mIRC.
I don't see why we need a chatroom on this forum its fine just the way it is i have met some nice people on this forum one being wenz she has helpped me out loads also henpecked spirtbird and a few others the help they have giving me is amazing and i couldn't thank them enough but as the sites url states its parrot forums which we have the forums a chatroom is not relivent for this site sorry to say

I agree, there is no need for a chat room here. You get so many fast replies here its just like talking on a chat room. Everyone gets their questions answered and almost all the members are polite, I don't see a reason why you would need anything different from what this forum already is.
what if we had a chatroom so we could chat with eachother while we wait for a reply on the forums. we could also swap phone numbers so we can text eachother while on the phone while chatting in the chatroom while we wait for a reply in the forums. then if we all get fax machines..........ooh oooh what about a skype acount???? then we could be on video chat while on the phone while texting while chatting in the chatroom while waiting for a reply in the forums or a fax to come through! sounds like fun to me lets do it. lol

LOL... Would we ever get anything done :11: I have this vision in my head, of running between the Computer, phone, Fax Machine etc as well as trying to get everything else done at the same time
well of course you would have to set up your own command post where everything is in reach from one chair in another room that locks with thick non see through curtains so you are not distracted by annoying things like family, responsibilty, sunlight, etc.
