Thanks Wilma and Christy, This morning was very hard, looking in the cage and not seeing him there. At least today we are thinking of all the silly little things he used to do, rather than dwelling on his passing.

Christy, hope you had a lovely rest and vacation.

Thinking of you,

Mojo, Cecil, Timothy, Ben, Fly, Sethie, Sidney, Autumn and Boo (and the humans)

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss:( I can't even imagine what you are going through now. The very thought of losing any of my birds almost made me tear up just now. I'm sure you gave him a wonderful life, and that's what really counts. My thoughts are with you.

Heard from the vet today and Charlie had a massive epileptic fit, poor little soul. Had he survived this he would have had more and they would probably become worse as time went on. (I have mild epilepsy, so I know what he went through and I wouln't want him to have to go through that) He will be coming home today, so that he may be burried with all our other fids and furbys that have gone to that rainbow bridge.

Well, even though its never good to have a friend pass, at least you now know why. I mean at least it wasn't an illness, something the others could catch. I completely know what its like to have a pet seize. My dog, on my mothers birthday in 2003 (march) had massive seizures. She was rushed to the Vet and she survived, but there was some damage done and it took her around 2 years to fully recover (she had a massive cluster of seizures and then a few "aftershocks" for about 6 months, but none since thank goodness). Anyways, I hope knowing what happened to Charlie will help in your healing process (including that of your family etc). ((((((((((((((Peta))))))))))))))

Thanks Indigo, I think that was something I kept thinking about, what if he had been ill, what if the others caught it. Doesn't bear thinking about really. At least I have some peace knowing he won't have to go through that again. He's at peace now, and that really does help to ease some of the pain. Thank you again.

I just wish there was more I could do but I'm glad you are feeling a little better.

You have done more than you'll ever know, and I thank you so much. You too are going through it at the moment and I'm sending you loads of hugs.

((((((((Peta)))))))))

I hate waking up to dead pets. Just wrecks your day like nobody's business.

I know it doesn't make it better, but at least you know that it wasn't just a random accident. Reasons sometimes help the process. I hope you are doing well today peta. How are your son and harley?

Yeah somehow it helped knowing what was wrong, I was so worried that he was sick and I'd missed the signs and what if all the others came down with it. I found myself checking them out at least 100 times a day, and even began seeing signs that just weren't there.

Luke and Harley spend a lot of time together and are slowly helping each other through this. Yesterday she even started calling for Luke as soon as he came home from School. She's not calling for Charlie as much now, which is nice as it was so heartbreaking. In time we will get her another little friend (I hate seeing my fids without another of the same species with them)

THANK YOU ALL
