Looking for advice. Recently changed my conures diet from Zupreem to Higgins Intune Natural. The reason being, he only ate the pink pieces and left the rest, and the Zupreem reminded me of kids cereal with the artificial colors.
Now he's only eating the red pellets from the Higgins. He's been on the Higgins for over a month with no issues. His poop has been normal, whitish grey, soft but not liquid (Sorry for the poop descriptive) This morning for the first time, I see his poop is red, not blood red, but the color of the food, and is a different consistency, more like spaghetti. This has never happened before and I have had him for 7 years. He other wise acts perfectly normal. I have no clue if this is a serious issue that needs veterinarian intervention or if this is a more common thing. All input will be greatly appreciated.
