I had to change my conures food because the one usually buy was sold out. Since I changed her food, she poops less and it's not as wattery....I'm wondering which food is best to keep using....both are conure foods! Any help would be great :)

Welcome and be welcomed. Can you give an idea of the brands? Some are considered very good and some are really trash, loaded with sugars and or junk., and some are OK not great but OK.

Never heard of that brand. So read the ingredients on the bag, if it has sugars, meal, or fillers you may want to go with one of the better brands. Tops, Harrisons, ROudybush are considered 3 of the best. Also look for any dyes used, if its a colored food. Really a good diet for parrots is 70% fresh or at least frozen and thawed veggies, 20% pellets or parrot foods, and 10% seeds and nuts of various types. An all pellet diet is not terrible for them but you want a good brand is thats the case. Me, I dont like pellets that have vitamins added, that should be coming from the veggies.

Thank you so much! In going to look into better brand !

Good for you ! Just dont abruptly change from one to the other, do it gradually. Parrots are perfectly capable of starving themselves, literally, if food is changed to one they dont like. Most brands offer a sample deal so you are not spending $$$ on food he wont touch. Odds are if he dosent like a given brand, nothing you're gonna do is going to change that, which is when the starving begins. Like most things with parrots, doing things gradually is usually the best course.

I’ve seen vita craft pellets, but I couldn’t rate them. Would be interesting to see ingredients next to zupreem, Harrison’s, etc.
