2 Black Headed Caiques - Bunsen & Beaker
A couple weeks ago, it was cage cleaning time. We were out in the yard hosing down cages when it got quiet in the house. You all know what that means.

I went back in the house. Beaker was chilling on his perch, but Bunsen was nowhere to be found. I searched for a bit, which worried me. Bunsen cannot keep quiet for any length of time. He's the worst hide-and-go-seek player in the history of the game. Apparently, he was enjoying his new perch:

(Let me know if the picture doesn't work.)

BAHAAAAAAA!!!!! He looks like hes part of the light :) You must have pancaked ,It would have taken me a minute to find him . Then id be like what the He#$ are you thinking :) Then ran and got the camera . I have so much fun with my 3 . That I wont go to this store that has a bunch of babies right now. Such a fun easy bird to me.

What? I don't see a parrot:54:. But I must say that's a lovely bauble on your light fixture:p

Awww, that cracked me up! Where can I buy a chandelier like that with the added decor attached?

That would have been scary, cute pic though! We had a parrotlet fly behind a pipe organ once............. 4 hours later we got him out safe and sound. Then proceeded to put the organ back together!

BAHAHAHHA!!! Bunsen = Tarzan, yes? Swinging wildly on that chandelier.

Never a dull moment, is there?

Hysterical!!! One of ours (Ringo AKA Magellan) likes to dive off the balcony and occasionally walks around on top of the ceiling fan (about 20 feet up) making it move as he hops from blade to blade.

That is just priceless. Tiffany lamps? Chihuly chandeliers? Just third-rate junk compared to a caique-light fixture!

I can understand your worry though--I'm sure I would have freaked! Henry is pretty quiet, so I've had a few scares with him--particularly when he discovered his "man-cave" under the cabinets in the laundry room--but it wasn't too bad because I just felt he was around somewhere...it was just a matter of finding him.

Eliza has only freaked me out once, and for much the same reason as Bunsen: she's pretty vocal. Not only does she want you to know where she is at all times; she DEMANDS you know where she is at all times! So when I couldn't find her one day, I really did get anxious. I searched all over the house, behind desks, everywhere.

Just as my blood pressure was about to reach 800/600, I found her. She'd gone back in her cage to eat. Certainly the last place I'd ever think of looking for her...

So when you were hunting around for Bunsen, can I assume the first place you checked was the liquor cabinet?
:09:

ROTFL!!!! I open the pic and saw nothing, zoomed in and say Bunsen doing a Vandam at the bottom of the light. That is hilarious!!!!!!! Never a dull moment.

Question, how did Bunsen get down? By his/her self or with parront assistance? The pic cracks me up still!

I'm still laughing about Bunsen Van Damme. That's pretty awesome.

Beaker is struggling with flight right now. Since they're inseparable, to get Bunsen to come to us, we just pick Beaker up and change rooms. I'm starting to realize this isn't the best training, though. I need to do more research on flight training.

HAHAHAAH!!!!!

Oh my gosh, that is hilarious!
