Car sit for Marley

I made a car sit for Marley.

I know it's not very safe, but I hope one day she will be able to wear harness I got for her, so in combination with harness, I think it will be OK.
We will try using it when I have to take her to the Aviary where I volunteer. Marley has to meet another Amazon I want to adopt.

All the screws and connection of the rope are on the bottom of the car sit, so Marley can't put it into her beak.
What I like is that sit itself holds the paper in place.
We will see how it works, and I'll report to you later......

I've got to make one of those already! I keep forgetting to get the elbows when I go to the lumber store, but have FINALLY written it on my shopping list. I have the PVC, just need the connectors.

It's a long story, I am not going to bother you with it's whole entirety.
But in short, last Feb. I started volunteering in the Sanctuary for Exotic Birds, where I met DYHA that picked me as her favorite one on the very first day I was there. The adoption process had some complications, and so I got Marley thinking I will never be able to adopt this DYHA.
Like always in life, the week later they made a decision, and DYHA can be adopted now......
I am worried now, because this DYHA has a lot of character, I am not sure she will like Marley. I am not worry too much about Marley. I am showing Marley the videos of this DYHA and Marley just loves to watch them. No wonder, DYH sings, talks her head off, laughs, yodeling, etc........ ..... I love to watch them too........even they are just short cell phone clips.
Also they both are girls....have no idea how that works in the world of Amazons........
They told me to bring Marley after they check her Vet records for the meeting of the birds........ Oh boy.......
