Can't Beleive It's Been Almost 16 Years!

Even though this is a little late, as I just returned to the forum a little over a week ago, I thought I would share that my little Quincy turned 16 years old on March 27th. Easter Sunday.

He is my second parrot and I adopted him June of 2000 when he was only 3 months old. I had a Quaker that I had for about 2 years before Quincy who passed away from illness.

Quincy and I have had our ups and downs and our good times and tough times. But he has always been there to make me laugh and entertain me with his goofy temperamental self. I've learned to appreciate him a lot more now that I have two very noisy macaws! LOL! I appreciate that Quincy chooses to talk over making too many annoying noises! LOL! :09:

He is like an old dear friend and I couldn't imagine life without him. He is my first born and will always have a special place in my heart. Love you buddy!

You are so right Mark! These guys steal our hearts and the longer we have them the more that love grows if that is even possible! Lol!
