Canelo The Neighborhood Hit

Last night we went to the inlaw's house for Halloween. The kids said they wanted to take Canelo with them to collect candy. I don't have to leash him, but last night he was so excited because of the people out it took us 10 minutes to get him from the car to the house so the kids could get him ready. He had to visit and say hello to every person he saw, visit two garages, the families had them open and they were outside waiting for kids to come up. The kids got Canelo ready, and off they went with the Moms. Canelo came back after 20 minutes, he was slowing down and there is no telling how many pictures he had taken with people, he and the kids had fun.

On a sad note, one of inlaw's had an accident falling and breaking his leg in two places last night. He was smoking a brisket and had gone to check on it when it happened. We are now waiting to hear from the surgeon to see when they are taking him in for surgery in the next few hours. Here are some pics of the lobster after he returned. He helped the kids go thru their candy. I don't know how much candy they got but it's pounds worth. I suggested donating most of it and I got the look of death from 9 little faces, oops, LOL!!

Canelo is one cute trick or treater! I'm glad the kids took him along and had a great time.

I'm so sorry about your relative's accident. I hope he recovers quickly.
