I had a few types of birdseed in the freezer to prevent seed moths and for storage until ready for use. I thawed the seed in the fridge and mixed it together and now have plenty to store... I have vacuumed sealed them in plastic bags and want to know if I can refreeze it or if I should store them in the fridge until ready for use. I know you cannot refreeze meats and produce because of ice crystals tearing through the cells, etc... does the same thing apply to seed?

I've re-frozen seed and pellets with no issues at all.

I always freeze seed as soon as I bring it home because of the possibility of grain moths.
