It has been interesting! Two miles down the road we found out he could open his travel cage. So I took one of his toys down and used the closable chain link to close his door. Only problem is it is a small one and he tries to bite my fingers. Now that we are at camp he has pretty much free reign of the camper. He really likes to look out the window and whistle to the kids riding bikes past. I didn't think he could get to the food area but surprise surprise! Nothing like the ingenuity of a curious parrot.

He has been talking up a storm. Camping next door is my aunt and she likes his noise. Thankfully no one is expecting to hear a parrot so they just assume all the chirping is coming from the trees not our camper.

Aww looks like Buzz is having a blast camping! Thanks for sharing.

I LOVE that Buzz is perching on a coffee cup that says "ACTUALLY I CAN" while shredding papertowels LOL That says all that needs to be said about Greys!

Buzz : "hmmmm...I need to go potty...HEY! this will work to wipe my bum!!" ;)

Great pictures! It is awesome when our fids enjoy going for rides, and Buzz is doing it in style too!

Awesome. I always take my Mango camping when I am able to. I take him out and about on his harness. He loves being outdoors. Have fun!

I so love him sitting on that coffee cup! What a gorgeous view out the window, so much for him to see. It looks so incredibly relaxing.

I love it!!!!! He looks like he is having a great time. I love that he is camping with you, mug or not. Mine can't have the mug for a perch until I've had my coffee though, lol!

Buzz has only been able to see his boy once a day but seems ok. He is looking out the window where there is a road the kids ride bike past. There is lots of foot traffic and he whistles to everyone. He has also picked up a blue jay call. He actually went into his cage twice yesterday without fighting me or trying to bite.

Nice pics, looks like great fun. Never underestimate the ingenuity of a Grey!!

Great pics! I love that you took him camping with you! We went camping last week and opted not to take the fids since it was our first time camping in many years and with the kids. I hope to bring at least one of them next year! :D
