Caique pulling out new feathers :(

Hi New to the forum.
Need help!!! Pulling new feathers
We rescued Moochie in 2015 she is about 12 years old. She is a Black headed Cacique.
About 2 years ago she started pulling her feathers out on her legs.
We changed her food, cleaned everythin, changed her sleeping tent (she came with a tent and will not sleep without one), she has all kinds of toys, giving her vitamins to help the feathers, took her to vet for a visit. We were told it is behavioral. She is free flight only in he cage at night. Perches in both widows. Ladder in sliding glass door. We do not know what else to do. She becomes angry when they are bothering her. Started giving her CBD oil really helps but need more.

Welcome to the forums, @MoochieWoochie, but I'm so sorry you're experiencing this very distressing situation. I have personally never had a parrot who has plucked, only one who barbered his feathers just a little and that was bad enough, so I can only imagine how upsetting and frustrating it must be to see Moochie doing this to herself. Has Moochie been back to the vet for a follow up visit? Plucking is often something that requires numerous visits to pinpoint exactly what the issue may be, although unfortunately it can sometimes defeat even the most dedicated of avian health professionals. I'll link our list of avian vets below too, just in case the original vet was not a bird specialist, or if you'd like to try a different vet for a second opinion....
