Cage?

Hey there guys hope you having a good day! I have a question if anyone could help me. I used to have sugargliders in a cage for a long time, i gave away the sugargliders to a friend and i still have the cage. Will it be safe if i use that cage for my cockatiel? If i wash the cage of course with vinegar and alcohol?
