Why do you care!?!? STALKER!
Parrots
Harmin - White and Blue Budgie
Momiji - Bright Yellow & Green Budgie
Yay! I finally got a new parakeet! It's still a baby, so I don't know if it's a boy or girl, but so far, the thingy above its nose is pink. I named it Momiji, and it's getting along well with Harmin so far. Momiji is mostly tamed, but I still have to work with it.

The thing is, Momiji's wings are clipped. It has trouble getting around the cage, so I moved stuff around, but do you gaiz know if there's anything I could do to help it? Cuz Harmin likes to try to push Momiji off perches. :/
By the way, is that normal?
I mean, they're getting along pretty well so far I think, but is there anything I should look out for with them that would be bad and stuff?

Lol, sorry I'm asking so many questions. I just want to take good care of my 'keets.

Thanks!

He's probably trying to push him around because it was HIS cage and now he has an intruder in it. They will probably be fine as long as you keep an eye on them and make sure they aren't getting too rough, but that's why most will suggest that you put them in separate cages, next to each other for awhile before you try to keep them in the same cage. As far as him not getting around the cage very well, is he recently clipped? If so, it could just be that he isn't used to being clipped and it is throwing his balance off, he should get used to it in a few days/weeks. Oh, and when do we get some pictures? :)

Thanks, IcyWolf! Yeah, last night they were getting pretty rough.... They didn't really hurt eachother, but, that's still not good. I would get a new cage, but my mom can't afford it right now. Or atleast doesn't want to buy one. :(

And I have another question now. Momiji isn't fully tamed; he can't step up yet, but I'm trying to teach him how to do that. The problem is, when he steps up and I try to move him out of the cage, he grabs back onto one of his perches. And the lady at the pet store just told me to grab him if I want him out of the cage, but once I get him out, then he tries to bite me if I touch him. (Yah, probably shouldn't have grabbed him, huh?) So, what can I do to make him like me again? And how can I get him out of the cage without him grabbing onto his perches?
Oh, and about the pictures - I'll have them in by today, hopefully. Just gotta get my camera to work. :/

When I first brought a second budgie, Raphael, home, I had the boys in a cage together. That lasted a short time, as there was food aggression between them. I DO recommend having them in separate, side-by-side cages. Mine are still in that setup, though they may be ready to share again. I'll be very cautious about introducing them into the same space again.
