I was just hoping i could get some opinions on my eckies cage placement.
I have our new grey in the dining room. From the couch we can see her and she can see us. I have the play stand in the opposite corner where the bird is pretty much secluded unless your in the dining room.

my eckie has been spending tons of time on the play stand and the chairs to spend time with the grey who as of right now could care less about him.
my eckies cage is in the living room where they cant see each other, but he has been there since we brought him home.

I've been debating on putting my eckies cage where the play stand is so he can spend time with the gray and keep each other company when im not home (which is rare) or busy. And putting the play stand in the liviing room so they can both take turns in the main family zone and hopefully if they get along some day they can both spend a good bit of time there.
(i also take both with me when putting laundry away/ doing dishes/ hardcore cleaning rooms, so this isnt the only placement/interaction they get)

Thanks in advance, i look forward to your opinions!

I'm sorry...i just noticed i should have put this in the "cages" topic....

Hehe no worries. Sounds like good placement right now, if it's still an 'active' part of your house. :)

The idea of them able to spend more time 'around' each other sounds good though. I guess it all depends on how well they actually get along? Right now I think it's sweet the ekkies are interested in your grey.
