Cage for Grey ?

I saw this cage in person and I was surprised at how big it is, much larger in person then I thought it was going to be and it seems nice. It has very small bar spacing. It may be a little small once you add all your toys and various perches so you'll want to be thoughtful of how you place things.

Looks like a decent cage. My AG lives in similar but a bit smaller cage and she is fine there, so this one should be good.

I suggest that you get the biggest cage you can afford. remember birds like to stretch their wings, their wing span can be up to 20 inches or more.... also, it will look big without the parrot in it and all the toys.... remember greys need a lot of toys, not just 2 or 3, they will be bored and could start plucking....

Says that cage is 30" x 30" , so as long as a grey stands dead center He should be able to stretch his wings..:D

That cage should be fine, African grays are pretty stocky birds with rounded wings and have a wingspan of 18-20". And during the day you can leave it open(when supervised) and the gray and hang out on the playtop or a play stand.

My galah cockatoo's cage is 36" wide and 27" deep, that alone is pretty large, the nice thing about her cage is that it's also 68" tall making it massive and giving her a ton of room. I only paid $240(it was like $216 without tax) and had free shipping because of a close out sale. So even if you think that cage is the one for you, keep your eye out for a good deal on a larger cage :)

This one is 22" X 24" X 53" for $499 is that good? Is it big enough? I think its 22" by 24" or it may be the other way around.

22"x24" is way too small for a Grey. I wouldn't go smaller than a 32" X23" (width and depth).

I have my Grey in this cage:
BIRDCAGES4LESS.com: Avian Adventures Mediana: Playtop and Dometop

He's been in it all his life (10 years) and it's worn very well. It has no missing/chipping paint, no broken parts, no wear at all, wheels still original. I would buy it again if I needed another cage. It's the perfect size and he's a large Grey (600 grams).
