For those of you who use water & vinegar to clean the cage(s), what ratio do you use?
I currently use poop-off spray & poop off wipes, but I can't handle the smell of it & it's pricey.

Thanks!

This was intended for the cages area, but apparently my fingers didn't choose appropriately! That's what I get for posting from my phone!

I don't measure but I usually use about 1/3 vinegar, 2/3 water, although sometimes I do half and half and for really stubborn stuff(like when you take in a bird with a cage that hasn't been cleaned in awhile) I'll just put straight vinegar on the tough spots, let it sit for a minute and then blast it away with some scalding hot water. I think the key is to let it sit. I just cleaned all of our cages today and I worked out a pretty good system, while I was cleaning one cage, I would spray the seed guards of the next cage with the vinegar mix, pull the grate out and put that in the shower, spray with vinegar then blast the hot water on it. So, while one grate was in the shower and the seed guards are letting the vinegar take affect, I would be putting paper, new food and perches/toys back in the last cage I cleaned. I usually have a horrible time getting the seed guards on ziggy's cage clean because in order to take them off you have to take the whole top of the cage off, which I just can't do every 3-4 days when I clean cages. Today, I let the vinegar sit on there for 5-10 minutes and then when I wiped it with paper towels it literally wiped right off like it was a fresh poop. Then I just sprayed and wiped one more time for good measure and it looked good as new :)
