Hehe, not just hugs, we took care of them. Its little baby Chacma Baboons, they are all orphans, and being social animals they need "parents" to take care of them. So people from all over the world come here for the experience to take care of them and see what south africa is like. Its usually a minimum of a month that you have to volunteer here, so you get attached to the little buggers. Me and my buddy is going for a week in September again, its a short holiday and i'm doing a animal behaviour project for my nature conservation diploma on them.

So if you guys ever want to come see africa, you can volunteer at C.A.R.E!

You are so lucky!

Africa was and always will be in my dreams ... :24:

I hope it doesn't just stay there and one day I will come! :D

Yep its a dream of mine, and as soon as I win the lottery I'm there, Wilma hope your still looking for a house for me and my fids. One day that win will come my way. :D :D :D :D :D

WOW! That is very very awesome. I'd also love to see Africa ... hopefully I will sometime. :)

My heavens, what a precious heart you have! This is an awesome (and for many, a once in a lifetime) experience! Excellent pictures, excellent cause!

What degree are you pursuing? I wish you nothing but the very best and then some! Fabulous :D

I'm now busy with my Nature Conservation Diploma, and when i'm finished, i want to study something in Animal Behaviour, not quite sure what wild animal. But, i'm gonna study a year course in Dog and Bird Behaviour when i finish this one. I'm going to another rehabilitaion centre tomorrow, so i'll try to get some pics of that too. Just a shame i cant volunteer at our spca, they dont allow it anymore.

Thank you Deanna, i'm enjoying it fully, and i love doing this for all animals! Its my passion to save and help those that cant speak for themselves.
