Soooooo.....we babysat one of my friends/past shelter adopter rabbit back in August. Unfortunately her big male has started attacking the other rabbits even his cage mate...so since she knew how much I liked him she asked if I would want to take him:D

I absolutely love this guy...he is more like a dog than a rabbit! She has a dog crate for him since she doesn't have an extra hutch. I am looking at hutches online but the only ones I like so far are located in Europe...

Pictures of him..he is very young around a year or two can't remember exactly. Not sure when exactly he is coming home so these are pictures from when I met him in August:D

And I found display cages for three out of 4 of my snakes...It came out to about 350 for each cage with the necessary accessories installed. My uncle was looking for an xmas present for me so I told him to buy me one as a present. The corns aren't big enough yet but my ball python needs one:)
Plastic Reptile Cages, Tanks and Racks. Snake, arboreal, lizard and turtle light weight custom flexwatt heated enclosures.

Though honestly my female corn will need one soon enough...she really is growing fast!

lol poor Pongo

You are growing a real home zoo:D What a cutie Pongo is! I've heard rabbits make really good indoor pets and quite intelligent. I had a coworker once who had a rabbit that was 'free roaming' in the house and was litter box trained like a cat.

Thats a nice snake enclosure too. Does your snake have a name?

Haha well I didn't plan on adding to the zoo for a little while! Back when I first met Pongo he really made me want a rabbit and I actually looked on petfinder for one. There are a lot of them but I decided against it since I didn't really want any rabbit just one like Pongo. So when she said she was looking to adopt him out and were we interested I said I wanted him right away:) Pongo is one of her failed fosters from when she did bunny rescue. He is actually coming home tomorrow....she has a temporary setup that I can have while I look for hutches. I think I found one but not decided quite yet.

The ball python is named Catty and I've had her about 10 years now. Before we moved she was in one of the big boa cages I had but I trashed those two wood cages. They were just not practical with how heavy and unwieldily they were. I expect her to be around for at least 20 more years. So a cage that will last like the boaphile makes sense!

The red corn snake is till unnamed....I just have not figured out what I want to name her or my yellow male! My bearded dragons light is finally working too:D There is something definitely wrong with the top outlet in the wall so eventually we will have to have someone look at it. For now I found one of my power cords and plugged everything into the bottom outlet and there has been no issue so far. Since it is working having everything plugged into the bottom I am looking into getting a megaray mercury vapor for the other side of the tank. Not right away though... I found everything that was killed by the top outlet and it comes to at least 200 dollars since it was killing fixtures and bulbs at the same time:52:

My personal zoo isn't too bad... though I am maxing out soon! For anyone counting that is 9 parrots, 1 cat, 1 bearded dragon, 2 corn snakes, 1 red tail boa, 1 ball python, 1 horse, and the new bunny:D

He is here:D He doesn't seem to mind the cats...and Paige actually sat on him while he was sitting in my lap:rolleyes:

What a cutie! Hey, he does not need a hutch, he can use the dog crate fine as long as there's something covering the wire on the bottom. Is he litterbox trained? My bunny just visited her hutch to use "the facilities," and to nibble some hay, otherwise she hopped around the house, hanging out where we were usually!

How sweet! Pongo is very pretty. :)
I had a rabbit that looked somewhat like him (fewer spots and they were grey). Marshmellow was his name. I used to let him roam our fenced-in yard with my big dogs. It was so entertaining to watch them play!
Enjoy him!

Pongo is a stunner. Love his markings, that "backbone" is really distinctive. He's a lucky boy getting a home with you, and you're lucky to have found "your" bunny so easily.

woohoo. Good news story.

Thanks guys:D He is settling in really well doesn't even seem a little stressed about the change of scenery. He was very happy when I plopped down dandelion greens in his food bowl. He was hopping along after me after I gave him that:rolleyes:

I know the crate will work fine but there are some nice looking hutch setups. I like the look of wood more than the wire. He is litter box trained forgot to mention that so far he hasn't done anything outside of the crate. He has been out for the last few hours. He has climbed the stairs to the living room but ran back to my room after peeking from the top step. Too scary so far I guess to roam around upstairs!

He really doesn't mind the cats and Paige has been sniffing him. He also didn't seem fazed by the flying birds above his head:)

He's adorable!!!! [emoji7][emoji7] congrats on your new addition!! I love his color markings- it's like he has a little racing stripe down his back :p

He really doesn't mind the cats
My bunnies are surprisingly laid-back with their "siblings" as well. Mine are out on the patio and when I give them my dinner, one of my dogs (westie) rushes inside their house sometimes (when I can't block her in time). She's a pest, she's a "chasey" sort of dog and wants to sniff at them and she stares at them. They keep quite calm about it. It freaks me out, but they take it in their stride.
