Bumblefoot

My cockatiel has bumblefoot. When I took him to the nearest vet, he burst the blister, but now there's another one on the same part of the foot, and it's filled with blood. The vet is suggesting that I burst this one too and apply Betadine


Please can you suggest any treatment

ITs important to have many different diameter perches for parrots to rest on, natural ones are best. That can help eliminate hot spots that develop into blisters. Throw those dowel stick perches into the fire!!
