Two budgies (Creme and Lettuce)
Hello there. I'm new in the forum and I was trying to find answers about the behaviour of my budgies. I have two of them (male, female) and sometimes in the course of the day each one is talking to himself/herself and "attacking" the other with its beak. The other one is just staring at him/her, doing nothing. Should I be concerned about it? Is this normal? Also, let me explain that I only have them for a month or so, so maybe this fighting behaviour will change? Thank you for your time!

Here is a picture of them :)

My budgies squabbled like that all the time. As long as there's no blood+feathers being torn out I wouldn't worry about it. It's just a case of finding a pecking order and them trying to change ranks etc. & some budgie's are just plain cranky ;)

Your two are lovely colourings! Since just having the two (down from 6) they fight a lot less often because they're not 'under each others feet' as much and there is less competition etc. I just hear the odd squabble now and then I suppose. :)

Wow, your two budgies look like the first two I got. Anyway, mine would argue a lot like that. From time to time there were serious fights and I had to separate them for a week or so. Just keep a eye on it.
