Hi guys, I am posting this on the behalf of my partner. He owns two budgies, Harley (blue) and turbo (yellow). Turbo is having some breathing difficulties and is having some medication for his respiratory issues. It has been noticed over last night. I’m hoping for some tips or advice, a humidifier has been set up for him.

Humidity should be 40-50. Anything over 60 and youll possibly have mold issues.
Its no too likely but you may need an air purifier.

I have definitely said this. My partner is concerned that he still isn’t breathing well. I told him it takes time. Especially if Turbo has been hiding the illness for sometime.

I'm glad you're here.

Good advice above...

If you decide to seek a second opinion or other input...

Certified Avian Vets
If none are near you...
Avian Veterinarians
In my opinion, any of the vets listed here should be better than a regular vet.
International contacts, too.
If none are near you, maybe you could call and ask for a recommendation for somebody in your area.
And... sometimes, distant vets will offer brief thoughts or advice...
Or... sometimes I find a place to start just by Googling "avian veterinarian near ((your location))"
Or maybe a local breeder might help... again, maybe Google?
