This evening we took Buddy with us to visit family, trying out his new travel cage. I have to say WOW! He is such a ham, HE LOVED IT!!! As soon as we walked outside, he started whistling, yelling hello and pretty bird, eyes pinning, cheeks fluffing out. I put his travel cage in the middle of the back seat and during the entire ride talking, whistling, making every noise he knows.
When we got to my parents' he said hello over and over walking up to the door, when we walked in the house, he did his happy dance and show for everyone. He even made new sounds and said some new words but they weren't clear. I opened the cage door and he came out, got on my shoulder, kept talking and whistling, he's a serious attention pig, I love it. We had dinner, put him in the cage so we could eat and he started pitching his fit. My parents wanted to know why was he doing that so I educated them on my mistake of not giving him food. He then scared my parents when slung his corn of cob out of his dish onto the floor. Typical Buddy, lol but a nice night.
