Buddy, You Can Be Embarrassing (palm face)

Tonight we ordered pizza. The delivery guy showed up and for whatever reason Buddy threw a big fit at the poor guy standing at the door, a teen working a part time job. Buddy even tried to get out of his cage to attack. The pizza guy was so interested and inquisitive, asking questions because he saw and heard Buddy. Buddy was being such a... BUTT! So I got Venus out and let him hold her while Buddy threw every sound he knows. I like sharing and educating people on parrots, seeing the smiles it creates, lit up faces, it's awesome.

Venus is the best behaved. This kid (pizza delivery guy) just lit up! Smiled big time. He even took a selfie with her while Buddy looked like a deranged wreck trying to squeeze between his cage bars.

But Buddy, OMG! Be nice!!!!!

Years ago ( when Mom was still with me) We would order Chinese food from time to time and have it delivered. Smokes was still with us too,and the delivery guy ( the shops owner) was just FASINATED with Smokey.
After a few deliveries he asked if the next time he made one,if it would be ok to bring his two very young kids with him ( a boy,who was maybe 4 or 5 years old and a little girl of maybe 3)

They came by maybe 4 or 5 times one spring/summer and the little tykes eyes would get as big as half dollars and just laugh and giggle coz Smokey would put on a show for them ( maybe Smokes knew the kids just loved seeing her) and she'd mumble and dance on her roof for them. And of course with Smokey carrying on,Amy got into it with 'zon speak,which made the kids more giggly.

A few years later, I stopped into the restaurant ( just down the street from me) to pick up an order,and the owner pulled me to the side and said THANK YOU for allowing his children into my home to see the birds,that they talked about them for a long time after. Made me

He was here. But he was in the backyard waiting. He's in my bed right now . Nelo has been my bed belo for 3 weeks!!

I was just browsing but couldnt resist. We had a guest, my husbands friend visit us. Rio will fly to his favourite perch,our granite alter and scrutinize every guest that visits us. He is usually nice and well behaved for an alexandrine. This time however he decided he hated the my husbands friend the moment he came in . The entire visit was loud screeches with "GET UP RIO" "GEEEET UP" "YOULL MISS YOUR BUS" "BAD BIRDIE" , the caps is for the volume level . He was pacing the altar back and forth , neck erect wings a lil drooped and eye pinning.
We did not have to tell our guest to leave ...poor guy got the message loud and clear

For those not familiar with Canelo, he's our English Bulldog and specializes in eating. Once when we ordered pizza, he ran out the front door, he has to greet everyone so he greeted the pizza guy then ran to the guy's car and jumped in the passenger seat, the door was left open. Our neighborhood Dominos knows us well and looks forward to delivering to our zoo, lol!

I love Canelo to bits. He is a great dog and my first English bully, best behaved, he can be stubborn for sure but he is so loveable. All of my nieces and nephews love him. When we stay with them or they stay with us, he loves to sleep with them, he's a lover. He's so patient with them, they even decorated him for Christmas while decorating the tree. They have even painted his nails, he just goes with the flow and he's good with my fids too, and he's scared of Venus so he clears out when she's on the loose, lol.

Goofy, our Amazon, occasionally causes us near-fatal mortification by doing his porn star routine while guests are present. I truly understand embarrassing 'zons.

And Canelo is freaking adorable.
