Bucc the escape artist.

I'm a bit sleep depraved, I was supposed to be finishing off some really simple work last night and it just would not go right, So I decided that I would peek in and see what everyone was up to, I finally managed to get to bed at about 1.30am No problem I thought, its Sunday tomorrow I'll have a lay in, till oh maybe 7.00. Ha Bucc had other ideas and thought it would be a great idea to escape from his cage and came to pay me a visit, After finding my bedroom door closed he gripped on to the top of the door frame and started knocking to be let in. I woke up and wondered why some burglar would be knocking on the door, looked at the clock. 4.30am I was not impressed at all, So after scooping him up and putting him back in the cage, thought I would try to get a bit more sleep, I turned to leave when all I could hear was "love ya mum" "give bucc kiss" "oh your so preeeeeeeeeeety" "Bucc loves his mum" "Bucc needs kiss" How could I leave so at 4.30 this morning me and Bucc were curled up on the chair having a cuddle, He is now sitting in his cage fast asleep, me I'm still up

Chains round the top hatch of his cage in future I can tell ya.

Wow, you have a little Houdini on your hands! I'm surprised that he would even want to get up at 4:30 in the morning...I wish I could wake up to "Love ya mum" rather than incessant screaming! Hopefully tonight will be less eventful for you

I know how that is! I find fault in both of my cages, as I do in pretty much every cage (my parents say I should go into that bussiness, lol). Echo's cage has the four seed doors. Well, the manufactuer (I think it's HQ) decided it would make the cage look more attractive if there was some sort o design on it. It looks like fancy cross bones to tell ya the truth. Well, the things that hold them closed are like washers without a hole in the middle. They spin up and down. Echo has figured out that he can push them up through the openings and get out of the cage.

Of course, Echo's cage was Harley's, so she can do it on her's too (Echo's old one, believe me, it's BIG) So, Harley and Echo can both escape, and then, they fluff up, look so irresistable, and say "Kisses" "I love you mommy".

What I failed to mention earlier is that before the act all sweet, they chew up the molding or something along those lines. I have figured ot how to contain them though! (I just keep a screw dirver near by )

Oh yeah I know that feeling well, I now have chains round all the doors and food bowl doors, it looks more like a prison than a cage. I got a good night sleep last night though. Bucc has also worked out that he can get the main door open, think its the biggest problem with his cage, Kito's has a different lock on it now and its brilliant, no escaping for him, and Bucc can't open it either, The top hatch does have the washer bit though, so he can open that one.
