Hydutt (GCC - 4.5 years old) and Hero (Budgie - 3 years old)
Yesterday, I realized that there are bubbles on Hydutt's stool. We just had gram test 2 weeks ago which came out good with no problems. He is eating well (50%nutri-berries & 30%pellet-berries (trying to convert to pellet-berries) & 20%fresh fruits and vegetables). He has no behavioral problems. I am not sure if these bubbles are indication of a problem? Maybe the food change is causing bubbles? Or can it be because I put 2 drops of apple-cider in his water last time? :(

It could be any number of issues and you wont know without getting a gram test recheck.

Vets are closed today so I will wait until they are open. I am closely watching for the next poop :) he looks fine but I am a little worried. It is best to take the gram test anyways

No bubbles on the third poop. This little buddy will make me lose my mind :)

Noone had couple of small bubbles in their bird's poop? Anyone?

I have seen this at times. On occasion the lab report will show an organism of some kind, often treated with oral antibiotics. Sometimes, when intermittent, it is nothing clinical, at least to the extent determined by science.

If your bird is otherwise seemingly normal with a typical activity level, no harm waiting for a vet check. Not an emergency, but don't wait many days or weeks!

I will take him to vet tomorrow as soon as they open. But I am just trying to understand what I can do now at home. He looks normal but still has bubbles. I gave him some benebac. I'm hoping it is nothing important and just related to food change

Both my rose breasted cockatoos had some bubbly poop. One of my girls was being treated for yeast that was affecting her skin at the time and I was convinced my younger girl must have it too. Took both in for fecal checks. Layla still had the yeast issue but Jazzi was 100% clear. Our vet wasn’t too concerned with the occasional bubbles in poop but obviously it could mean something or nothing according to my girls results.
