In 6-8 weeks I will be bringing home my baby Sun Conure, who will be weaned completely. The breeder is picky about when they go home . He's hand fed and I've been stopping by the breeders every other day to interact with him and the other (I have a choice of 2) A few questions about helping the little one settle in right.
I have 2 cages, 1 that holds my GCC right now and a larger one (that's about 2 times the size of the other). Should I start him in the smaller first?
He's already people oriented but what is best to help him ease in at the new home and still be comfortable with me?
When choosing 1 of the 2 babies should I go with the louder more 'I am here pick me up' one or the somewhat quieter, loves to be in contact but more laid back?
How long should I wait, and how should I start introduction with my GCC who is 6 months?
To help with cage aggression, this is for my GCC, should I occasionally swap cages so they don't get super attached to one cage?
ANY tips on helping raise a friendly and happy Sun Conure after weaning would be APPRECIATED
