Help my amazon Angel is in constant breeding mode no matter what i do...and just this mornig i looked down at my phone and my birds were actually breeding grrrrr She has dropped a few eggs even though they havent been together. And she looks awful

Separate your Parrots!!
Assure that they are getting enough sleep periods to allow a natural stop of the Hormonal Chemicals!! Where the Parrot is must be Dark and Still! Cut the noise level!! It may require 14+ hours to Stop the Chemical flow! Check that the diet is not overloaded with Protein and/or sugar.
When you cut the Drives, the Chemicals with slow than stop11

they live in separate cages.. I cover the cages but they still get a little bit of daylight until the room becomes dark naturally. there on a pellet diet. Angel is like this year around.

The year around issues is a discussion with your Avian Vet.

So, where is the noise coming from and it needs to be limited.
Look closely at the diet. What and how much Fruit is provided as Fruits are a natural sugar source and in their natural region is only available late Summer thru early Fall. Fortified Pellets and other Fortified Foods can be a problem.

You will need to speak with your Avian Vet regarding a Full Spectrum Blood Test to determine what is out of balance.

Double-Yellow Headed Amazons can be brutal when they are Hormonal, especially if the time period become extended.

its not noisy here at all.. until my husband comes home (lol) he is a bit loud at times. Im sure its the pellets. they wont eat fresh food but Im going to try that starting soon as we are leaving for a trip tomorrow and wont be back til sunday. Can you start me off with a starter chop

My chop recipes vary as to what is available at the local market, but are always heavily hot pepper based. Jalapeno, Habenero, Ghost + hot chilies, then kale, carrot sticks, cauliflower, broccoli, brocolirabe, a red or yellow pepper, dandelion greens, carrot greens, beet greens, a bit of beets, small amount of spinach or arugula, small amount of corn. Plus anything that is in stock that is OK for them. We make up enough to bag and freeze in 5day supply. 3 months worth.
