Hi - I'm new in breedign caique. I have a couple questions about breeding.
1-My BC laid two eggs and I noticed that she does come out from her breeding box quite frequently.I know she sat on her eggs sometimes when she was in her box she will make a cooing sound (like she is talking). I am just worried that the baby will not hatch since she out from the box quite often. Is that normal for her to act this way? She is proven and do you think the eggs. i did not record the date when she laid those eggs. Please help.
2- I have WB that laid 3 eggs recently. This is the pair first egg laying experience. The female sat on eggs for about 2 weeks and the next time when I checked the box, all the 3 eggs were gone. I was shocked when I saw a small piece of egg skin with a little egg yolk on it. I am sure they must have done something with the eggs. My question is why they do that?
