We (my wife and I and our 9 and 11 year old daughters) have just come home with our first pet - a four month old pineapple conure. She (he?) has been with us for 4 days now and already feels like part of the family. Aside from homework suffering a bit, it has been absolutely fantastic. We are really looking forward to participating in this forum to pick up tips and advice on how to be a responsible family for our new additions.
