Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Did someone ask for a mush mac video?!

They stayed like this for about an hour or so... then I MADE them go down.
Neither bird wanted to.

I've said it before. I don't know how it's possible to love a bird as much as I do these two... they are just amazing!

Aggressive greenwings?! Maggie doesn't have an aggressive bone in her whole body!

Some people were asking about the whole two fingers on the beak thing... well at the end of this video that's what I was doing with Sweepea... no fuss involved.

I thought it was just me lol...
I didn't see pics or video and thought my phone was screwing up...

Yeah! Stop messing with our heads, man! Hahaha!

Video, please!!!

My Harlequin spent 20 minutes grooming my eyebrows last night. I had no idea they were such cuddlebugs.

It's very odd. I was able to email the attachment from my phone, to myself.

BUT for some reason it won't forward to your email.

I've tried three times but keep getting a delivery failure notice.

Ditto, waiting to see that video.

It's probably too large an attachment, Mark.

BINGO. Last night it was an issue with my phone. Today it's been file size issues.

Sent it on dropbox. Hopefully the technical difficulties have resolved.

It doesn't get any sweeter than that, Mark! AWESOME video!! :D (It's on page 1, in your first post)

I shared this with you already, but if you can imagine this:

When I bird sat the blue throat, and the B&G that week, I HAD FOUR AT ONCE ON MY PERSON AT ALL TIMES, PRETTY MUCH EXACTLY LIKE THIS...

Pick one up, had to pick them all up...

But yeah, mine are 100% mush macs... and they're like this with just about everyone who pays attention to them.

Properly socialized, these guys are as mushy as they come... People just don't handle them enough.

Locked up in a cage, and not handled? NOTSOMUCH...

What you get, is what you put into it. And the benefit isn't just to the quality of your life, it gives them their quality of life as well.

Withholding attention from attention oriented creatures, is just wrong... I can't imagine not interacting with them like this.
