Hello All,

My name is Chris, I'm 32 and I live in Long Beach, CA.

My partner, Johann, and I are new parents to a 3 month old Sun Conure born on February 6th, 2012. We just got him this last Saturday, March 31st. He is the sweetest little bird ever. He's warmed up to us right away and would rather be with us, than in his cage. He is also a little daredevil and has the energy of a cat and dog combined. LOL. Sun conures are great, it was on our list of possible birds but we couldn't find one to evaluate. Got an Alex, hes almost 5 months old now.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm Johann, Chris' partner. Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone.

5th day with Boomer and we are loving him more and more. We will have plenty of questions on how to care for him properly in the following months. I want to make sure we are not doing anything wrong with his diet and health, as well as raising him properly so he doesn't develop habits that will make it difficult for all three of us and our neighbors (not to mention our landlord).
