Green Cheek Conure
Hello, I am new to this forum. I have a Green Cheek Conure that is almost 1 year old and I believe is going through his first moly. The end of a lot of his feathers on his wings and back are black. I have done some research and came to the conclusion that this is probably from his diet. He is eating Harrison’s high potency pellets and gets a fresh chop every morning. I use seed and fruit for training. He was on a seed only diet when I got him and a friend said to switch him over to pellets as soon as possible. He took to the pellets very well and has been eating them ever since(about 3.5 months). I am confused as to why I am seeing this in his feathers if it would be from diet because I think I am doing what everyone says to be feeding him! Any suggestion would be very helpful and appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Yes stress bars, not have to be just diet.
But you are seeing past stress in the parrots feathers, you have to wait till next molt to see change.
Don't freed citrus, feed fruit light, mostly feed veggie , pellet and seed.

Don't forget routine matters, as does getting 10 hours if sleep a night.
