Black eyed Susan flower petals ok to feed?

I was talking Parker outside next to some black eyed Susan's and he seemed interested in trying to eat the petals. Anyone see an issue feeding some to him?

Well I guess we'll be a bellwether. I gave him a single petal and he lapped it up. We'll see how he feels in an hour.

3 hour check in, everything is perfectly fine. If anything it was a mood enhancer because he's in rare form, showing off a new whistle he learned, very chatty and outgoing.
