My macaw loves my husband but tries to bite me whenever he is near... Is there any way to get him to stop?

Take a look at the first Thread in the MAC section.
New MAC owners can easily miss what the parrot is trying to convey.
Socialize, Socialize, Socialize...... Your husband needs to work at convincing your MAC that you are all family and that biting you is like biting him.
Remember, It is never the fault of the parrot! It is always the fault of the Human! Start from that view point and everything is much easier, since you only need to figure out what your MAC is trying to tell you. So, have your read the First Thread Yet? No, well than you deserve another bite!
