Birdtricks DVDs. Are they actually helpful??

So before I got tiki I read a lot of posts on here about bfa and then watched some YouTube videos about them. That is when I came across birdtricks and the bfa they helped. They don't show you how they made the bird better but they show it being scared of people then loving them. So I got on that email list and bought the beginning package when it hit $40 right before Christmas. I learned how to clicker train tiki from it which was good but other then that I don't know. I posted on here on the conure section about birdtricks and one person said it didn't really work. So has anyone else bought it and did it or didn't work for them? My point being, they have a DVD about how to get abused, rehomed, or adopted birds to trust you and love you, it costs $98. I don't want to buy it and then be mad I did if they don't really work that well

I got taming training and tricks for Christmas and its pretty good yes I don't know if its worth the full price but it was half off when my mom got it for me and it did show you how to teach them tricks and it was pretty good I like it. I love birdtricks blog posts and YouTube videos!!

I also have taming training and tricks, I was a bit disappointed. I already knew all the basic training techniques used. Plus it has such a terrible home video vibe. I did enjoy reading the book that came with it, it explains how to achieve certain behaviors well.

I would like to buy "total parrot transformation" one day, just so I have that information available. I most likely already know the majority of it, but even a few new techniques are changing a certain way of thinking can make a big difference. i'll probably wait for the before Christmas sale next year when the price goes down again.
