Birds and Toys

Do your birds have toys in particular they like? Oliver loves his mirrors, swing and in total amusement for him likes to make his swing and the hanging toys all move at the same time. Sometimes he will shake the bells on a couple of the toys. There's a couple of toys he hardly messes with, one I bought recently looks like multiple layers of felt squares, and the other is small wood chunks layered with a bell.

But when I take all the toys out to clean them and the cage, when I put them back in he christens his favs and makes sure they're all there.

Skye and Stormy prefer toys they can shred. Sunny likes to play with toys that have bells but he will play with just about anything he can get his beak on. Blueberry is just a pain and doesn’t seem to like toys but she follows Sunny around the cage and wants to be close to him.

Guess birds like most toys that keeps them busy. Not as hard finding them toys as it was my kitten. I bought her some toys that said on the package "number one favorite for millions of cats". Well she might play with it once and that was it. :20:

That’s definitely similar to my 3 cats. We have Oreo (he’s almost 2) who will play with anything, literally anything that isn’t a cat toy. Then we have Cupcake that will only play *if* a specific toy has been saturated in catnip (she’s old and grumpy...best guess is she’s about 12 and is a rescue) and finally we have Mickey he is 6 and he does not play. At all. Ever.

I've begun to forgo the bother of shopping for toys and just give Nike a $20 bill to tear up every once in a while instead....same end result.

At all. Ever.



Now one toy my kitten did like was a cube and cat tunnel. Ran through that every day. I bought a Turbo Spinner but she didn't mess with it much.
