Hello Folk,

Does anyone has any experience with this Breeder in FL, how is he? He says he has the Noble Macaw that I'm looking for and I should give him a call around Mid April or so. I just want to get a vibe that he is good breeder before I order get my Noble Macaw from him.

Thank you all

By the way I was in the local aviary yesterday to buy some toys for my CAG and end up buying 2 months old GCC :)

Noble Macaws For Sale

Two things:
1. This breeder breeds not only macaw hybrids, a controversial practice in its own right, but also F2 hybrids, an even more controversial practice since those macaws look more like pure macaws and risk being accidentally introduced into the pure species gene pools. I personally wouldn't buy from someone who breeds F2 hybrids unless they had a species I couldn't find anywhere else, and would be loathe to buy from someone who breeds F1 hybrids as well. You may feel differently about it of course, but I did want to point that out.

2. Your GCC will take some time to get used to you, so three-four weeks from now may not be the best time to also add a macaw. Plus, you'll spread the fun for yourself out more if you wait.

Gavagai, thanks for your reply exactly my point. I personally do not like those hybrid stuffs and was looking for a Pure Noble Macaw not a Mixer. Noble Macaw aren't much breed and not much available now a days, I'm also in touch with one breeder in TX. I'm more relying on him, since his answer to my email felt like an honest answer to my query.

well with the Macaw this would be 3rd in the family... already got a awesome CAG which I rescued 3 years before. This Noble is going to be the last edition if i do not add a Greatr Jardine :)need approval from wifey for that.

So, I guess i'm in for more Vet visit, pet cost but hey.. it's all good.

I've seen the website before and personally I love hybrid macaws but not sure if I would buy from him. With the extensive variety he offers it gives me a 'bird mill' vibe. I've never dealt with them but the website looks like they push for volume and profit.

I was actually planning on visiting their store sometime this week and I will let you know how that goes. I do know they do a lot of community help with rehoming pets. I do also know part of their volume comes from them having deals with other breeders to buy their babies earlier for cheap and handfeed them as I have seen them post several criagslist ads requesting babies for handfeeding

fayah, thank you so much for volunteering to let me know about this aviary. As per I know he does sell volume, when I spoke with him over the phone he said his monthly sales is around 30K :), so when you go there can you kindly ask to see if he has noble macaw and if you can you see them, and also what is the major difference between Hahn and Noble macaw. Like diploma mil PHD, I don't want a mil bird either. my plan was to get the unweaned noble macaw to ship to the breeder that I trust in NC and get the weaned macaw from her. Thanks again.
