I have some rope perches and would like to get some wooden or Java perches to put in my green cheek conure cage. Any recommendations? Can a green cheek conure eat almonds and macadamia nuts or is that not imortant to add in my birds diet? I also been thinking of suitable foraging toys. I clean my cage with soap and water but should I buy any cleaning supplies from mysafeparrot store or is it that not needed?

Soap & water is fine, in fact no matter what the makers of sanitizing supplies would have you believe, soap & water will get over 90% of anything around your house, where a lot of those so called sanitizers will not, then there's the fact that most soaps may just give Pesky Parrot some loose stools, while most disinfectants need to be thoroughly rinsed before letting the bird(s) chew/lick on what you're cleaning.....

Almonds & macadamia nuts are fine for treats, but the macadamia nuts have too high of a fat content to be on his/her regular diet.....

A lot of people around here will suggest birdsafetoys as a vendor, but I think they only carry the larger java tree stands.....I've seen java & manzanita perches, that bolt to the side of a cage in wally world & if memory serves, they're vended by A & E cages.....why not just do a google search for "java parrot perches" with or without the quotes.....that should give you more choices than you might want to peruse.....
