YES! Would be so much easier then loading the plastic dog kennel then taking her out to the car in it! There is just no way I could bring myself to swing the price. I did see a web site where they took baby strollers and ripped out the seats and secured a wire crate on top.

You can do it without all the expense of the special made ones.....simply get a doll stroller or even a used kids' stroller, get a suitable carry cage, strap it in & voila, you have your parrot stroller.....

And to think I never played with dolls, rode in a stroller or pushed my daughter in a stroller...never lived anywhere that we had sidewalks.....

I have the pak o bird, and I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the stroller! I would have to buy a gold track-suit with matching headband and shoes, and perm my hair to pull that off!

I have seriously considered one of these. In fact I am hoping that Santa will bring one to me and Bundii this year. I think it is an awesome way to get non flighted birds out and about.

I can't but feel I receive enough "what on earth..." type looks when I go out with the carry cage. I'd hate to be on the wrong end of someones 'wrath' if I had birds in a stroller!

But yeah, if I had some kind of 'trolly' type system for moving them out and about without it looking quite 'baby stroller' kind, then yeah. The one you linked Gina is quite appropriate.

Two birds now though, so going out is harder. I REALLY want a garden.

Well the conure size is a lot smaller, so YES i would totally get one of these! But not if I had big birds, lol. People already think I'm a crazy bird lady with just 2 little conures, I can just imagine carting that big stroller out, the looks and comments I would get...

I purchased a doggie stroller at a yard sale and my Hubby custom fit a perch into it, and Voila Ruby's cinderella carriage was born. It has the netted sides to allow good air flow and it gives Ruby a great view. I use it when we go camping and to the beach. It is great for times when I don't want people asking to touch her.
