Hi! my name is Ellie. I just got a Sun Conure for Christmas. His name is Kiwimoe. He is a beautiful yellow ,orange and green bird .I am teaching him to tack. He can roll aver and come on command.

Choking? It's hard to say what the bird is doing without seeing it.. He might be adjusting his crop, he might be attempting to regurgitate (sign of affection) to you, etc. can you elaborate more on what it looks like? If you don't get many responses, I'll suggest posting in a separate forum from the New Members Intro section. Put the question in General Questions, or Health Care so more members will see it.
