Bird area coming along

I couldn't tell you exactly how many pounds a toggle bolt could hold, but assuming an undamaged, standard thickness sheetrock ceiling, I can say with all confidence that it could safely withstand an avian rave party wherein all of your birds jumped and swung violently about on it at once... mosh pit style! Lol!

Thanks Stephen

I forgot to address the weight, can't really put a number on it, BUT it is much stronger (if I am not going to a stud, I ALWAYS use metal Toggles)

If he used the wood one it will come out (because any movement will "ware" on the sheetroock making it loosen up)

Well okay then Stephen! :D I'll let the birdies know that YOU said so! ....and especially since you said "I can say with all confidence" :)
Thanks...

And thanks Joe for all the advice and pictures. Pictures ALWAYS help! :)

I love the ball but I don't think they will have one in the size I would need LOL beach ball sized?

Lol, that is a 10" jolly ball. Probably good for up to a mid-sized Amazon? The biggest size is a 14"... I'm not sure what species a 14" is for, but maybe a GW like you said would need beach ball size :) especially because of the tail. Maybe you could make something similar?
