- 1 BFA- Kiwi. Hatch circa 98', forever home with us Dec. 08'
I have been kind of sparse for a while on the forum and a bit unwell off and on. There is a very good reason for all that! Myself, Joe and Kiwi are all waiting for a new addition, this time of the tiny human variety :07:Baby is actually due on New Yearās Day! So sometime in late December or early January there will be some huge changes for us. We are all very excited! I had the scan the week before last and despite my awful cold/cough Iāve been battling, baby looks perfectly healthy. The gender will be a surprise
Kiwi has been a good boy. He had been extra protective of me and definitely knows something is up! Iām unsure to what level he understands what is going on though. My computer and art stuff is also in the babyās room (itāll have to be a shared space) and Kiwi already spends a lot of time in there with me. Hopefully it will be an easy transition for him. Heās been very curious about the strange ācageā(crib) that has appeared in there and seems pretty offended by this super fat blue front plushie I found Out in public, Kiwi likes kids and hams it up for them, so we are hoping heāll adjust well. My moms amazons were very curious about me as a baby and spent a lot of time in my room, so going to give Kiwi the chance to do the same and I think heāll be fine. He isnāt the jealous type so long as heās being included with what weāre doing and is a more hands off bird so I donāt think heāll actually get in the way/closer than he should
