We still haven't made it to page 2? How much more can I say? It hurt... a lot. But honestly the lidocane shots before the stitches hurt more...lol

the reason it hurts so much? all the nerve endings in your fingers! YIKES!

Sorry that happened to you. Goodness, actually brought back memories of my Too. Bit me clean through my forearm - knew it was bad when I heard his beak grind in the middle of my am. ER trip and two drains, no stitches as they figured risk of infection was too high. Loved that bird to death. He went into a hormonal fit on me, something I didn't see coming - my bad. Hope you feel better soon, sorry it happened, I figure it's part of loving them.
