Sprite the cinnamon green cheek conure.
I have given up on flight suit training Sprite >.< But I have hope that he will take to a harness. So I was wondering, what is the best harness for your money? I know a lot of people have aviator harnesses, but they are kinda pricey. I am wondering if the quality is worth it...

Aviators are amazing :) That's what I have with Con. It can be a little hard to get the loop over the bird's head but with training they'll work through it. They are a tad expensive but soooooo worth it!

Oooh, I know your pain. I bought a flight suit for Franklin and he's having NO PART of it! I also bought one for our pigeon and it's AWESOME!! I love it, it works great and catches the poo's.

I was also thinking harness...but I too, balk at the price...so I've been seriously considering clipping...but this too is so hard for me because he JUST learned how to fly now that his wings have grown in from when we bought him. And he's just soo proud of himself. He doesn't fly very often, nor does he fly very far, but he's doing it!

Before Franklin, I was a total believer in clipping, but for some odd reason...for Franklin...I feel differently...I just don't know.

Before he learned to fly, I took him all over the place with me, shopping, the pet store, post office, friends houses...now I don't want to risk it, and I miss taking him with me...so, yes...I've been in this debate with myself...harness...clip...harness...clip...ugh!

Good luck!

Toni

P.S. Any updated pictures of Sprite? You should put him as your avatar ;)

Im lazy about posting pictures xD I just sent a couple from my phone to computer but its not working..

I literally save my pennies in a jar and I got 27 dollars today, so I gotta harness for Sprite. I got it for 27 dollars including shipping on my safe bird store! :D
Sprite would NOT wear the flightsuit. I got it on him twice. He hated how when he tried to fluff his feathers, it wouldn't work because of the fabric. He also wouldn't poop in it. I think he'll take to the harness since it doesn't cover him up so much.
