Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

So while watching "dog town" on the Nat Geo channel I decided do look up their sanctuary, what I found is that they not only have dogs but every other kind of animal that you could think of! Including BIrds! I watched the video about their "Parrot Garden" and it made me smile! I know its just a few birds, and I know others do the same, but it was nice to see that people out there are really helping to rescue and re-habilitate birds in need! They even have their very own bird vet on staff! Just wanted to put it out there, they also have birds for adoption! Check them out!

Definately an amazing place! Friends of mine have money in their will that if anything were to happen to the both of them, their pets would all go to Best Friends to live out thier lives and be taken care of.

Sometimes when there is a large seizure of birds they will take many of them in. I have always wished I could go there but my two birds keep me home.

A friend just did a tour of Best Friends and I, too, was surprised they had parrots. Though I shouldn't have been. I know they have just about every other kind of animal
