So, just for fun!

For those of you with a flock, who is your best eater and who is your worst?

For those with only one bird, how is your bird with good eating.

My best eater is Mango. He will eat almost anything you give him. He will at least always try something new. He is the first one to his mash dish and loves to make a mess of his face! He's bold enough to steal food from our plates if we are not careful lol

Our pickiest eater is Dallas. She will often turn her beak up before trying new foods. Yet, she loves fruit juices and fruit teas (made of bird safe fruits and herbs, caffeine free), but is not a fan of wet foods. She will choose her seeds and pellets over mash if given the choice. She loooves her pellets at least lol. She likes dry crunchy foods.

What about you? Share your stories :D

My eating machine..Is Max 1895 grams.. (Greenwing ) last Time he let me weigh him.. Most fickle are my BG,s ..Coco 935 grams and Lucy 885grams

Everyone else prefers pellets and Nuts..

Ripley (GW) is a piggy! Anything and everything, you name it, he eats it. :D Although I can't complain about my other 3 either. They all have VERY hearty appetites. :54:

Mango is a healthy weight at 50 grams, he is our smallest bird!

Dallas is 105 grams! She's our second biggest bird lol

Tsukasa is an okay eater, he likes more fresh foods than Dallas. He is 115 grams.
Munchlax is a big lovebird at 65 grams lol

Since I have many birds, I will group them, cause it's easier, lol.
my cockatiels, and budgies have to be the best eaters, they are little eating machines.
seed/pellets are gone, and the good stuff, well lets just say the plate is bare by the end of the day.
Safari(Senegal) & Ninja (gold cap conure) are second, they eat plenty of food, but really dig the fruits/veggies/rice, etc....
my 3 lovebirds are pretty good eaters, not too picky.
the pickiest ones I have would be my gouldian finches. they eat their seed, and I have to say pretty good about eating fruits and veggies, but during their 3 month rest, while moulting etc....they don't touch the good food at all.
my canaries eat very well, love the corn, peas and leafy greens
my other conures, have a fabulous appetite, fruits are their favourite.

I have a bunch of birds too :) My caiques by far are the best eaters :) Our African grey comes in 2nd [we call him a foodie :) ] My Lesser Sulpher 2 [I would say is the fussiest] :)
