thanks for your reply i thought nuts caused problems or does it depend on which nut , with yumyum we only give him a nut as a treat so they are not in his food , what can we do about yumyum nipping the top of doors ? as we have been advised by the vet to get a bigger cage what size would you say ? the cage at the moment is 4' x 2' x2' but this is the cage he came with thanks

Nuts are fine in moderation, peanuts are risky though.
